2025 Workforce Development Scholarships

Because of the dire shortage of dentists, pharmacists and behavioral health specialists, the IL Rural Health Association is offering a limited number of scholarships for the spring semester 2025. Contract staff@ilrualhealth.org with questions.  Applications are due Monday, November 18th.

Dental Criteria: 4^th year dental student who was raised in a rural area in Illinois who an intent on practicing in a rural dental care Health Professional Shortage Area. Click here to apply.

Pharmacy Criteria: 4^th year pharmacy student, who was raised in a rural area in Illinois, with an intent in practicing in a rural Health Professional Shortage Area. Click here to apply.

Behavioral Health Criteria: Graduate student in behavioral health or social work, who was raised in a rural area in Illinois with an intent on practicing in a rural Health Professional Shortage Area. Click here to apply.
